Phase 4: Napping as a Form of Self-Discovery
In this critical phase of the Monday Blues Recovery Plan, we're not just napping - we're leveling up. Our naps will be so deep, so profound, that we'll be able to see the world with new eyes.
Here's the plan:
- Wake up every morning at 6am, but only to go right back to bed. Repeat as necessary.
- Spend at least 2 hours in bed, ideally in a fetal position, to recalibrate your senses.
- During your waking moments, perform the following exercises:
- Stretching: 5 reps of "the Monday morning stretch" (a.k.a. the "I'm-a-robot-trying-to-get-back-to-life" stretch).
- Yoga: 30 minutes of "the I'm-trying-to-remember-what-day-it-is" pose.
- Visualization: Imagine you're on a tropical island, but only if you're not actually on a tropical island. Otherwise, visualize a tropical island in your mind.
- Repeat the cycle until you feel human again.
Remember, the key to success in Phase 4 is to not actually accomplish anything. Just exist. Exist, and exist, and exist some more.
Quantum Leap to the next phase, or stick around and enjoy the existential crisis.
