Also known as "The Art of Delaying the Inevitable," Technique 3 is a time-tested method for avoiding productivity.

Step 1: Identify your task.

Step 2: Think of 17 more interesting things to do instead.

Step 3: Justify to yourself that your task will still be there tomorrow (or next week/month/year).

Subtechnique 1: Create a to-do list with 17 tasks you'll never finish.
