Mandatory Sock Policy Directive No. 3: The Great Sock Update of 2023
In accordance with the Sock Mandate Act of 2022, all citizens are required to own at least two pairs of socks per capita. Failure to comply will result in fines, penalties, and/or a visit from the Sock Enforcement Agency.
As of today, the Sock Enforcement Agency has issued an update to the Sock Mandate Policy Directive, requiring all citizens to own at least three pairs of socks by the end of the quarter. Don't get caught without your mandated socks!
Side effects of excessive sock ownership include but are not limited to:
- Excessive laundry cycles
- Increased risk of sock drawer explosion
- Unnecessary stress and anxiety
