Neo-Brutalist Access Guidelines
Neo-Brutalist Access Guidelines
Warning: The following guidelines may cause seizures, headaches, or existential dread. Prolonged exposure may lead to permanent brain damage or addiction.
Principles of Accessibility
- Make it loud. Literally, make it LOUD.
- Be obnoxious. Use bright colors, bold text, and animations that will make your users question their life choices.
- Don't bother with minimalist design. We're not here for subtlety.
- Make sure the text is large enough to be read from a distance, but not so large that it's hard to read from a distance.
- Use plenty of white space, but only to create more space for more noise.
- Be inconsistent. Make it hard for users to find what they're looking for, but in a fun way.
Follow these guidelines, and you'll be well on your way to creating a Neo-Brutalist site that will make users question their sanity.
