ARTICLE 1: NO CURVES, NO CIRCLES, NO SMILEY FACES

We, the Neo-Brutalists, reject the whimsy of the rounded, the smooth, the pleasantæk. Our buildings will be sharp, our angles will be right, and our corners will be corners.

ARTICLE 2: THEประก of BULK, OR THE FUTILITY OF FASCIA

We will not be swayed by the siren song of minimalism, of subtlety, of "good taste". Our forms will be chunky, our materials will be cheap, and our aesthetic will be loud.

ARTICLE 3: THE INDEFATIGABLE USE of SHADOWS

We will use shadows to our advantage, to make our forms seem deeper, more complex, more important. We will not be afraid to get our hands dirty, to get down and dirty.

ARTICLE 4: NO COLOUR, NO PASTEL, NO FANCY-SCHMANCY

We will not be swayed by the whimsy of colour, of pastel, of fancy-schmancy. Our palette will be black, white, and red. Our forms will be bold, our statements will be clear.
