The Neobrutalist philosophy is a radical, avant-garde approach to web design that seeks to subvert the expectations of the viewer and challenge their perception of the normative web experience.
At its core, Neobrutalist design is about creating a sense of unease, of discomfort, of questioning the very fabric of the web itself. It is a rejection of the bland, the boring, and the beige.
Our manifesto:
- Thou shalt use only the most jarring, clashing colors thou canst imagine.
- Thou shalt eschew smooth, rounded edges, and instead opt for sharp, jagged ones.
- Thou shalt use fonts that are both bold and ugly.
- Thou shalt make the user experience a constant sense of dread and anxiety.
