The Anti-Smoothing Manifesto

We, the undersigned, hereby declare our utter disdain for the scourge of smoothing. We reject the notion that curves are better, that edges are sharper, and that straight lines are more pleasing.

We stand for the jagged, the rough, and the unsavory. We stand for the imperfections that make life worth living. We stand for the pixelated, the chunky, and the altogether-unelegant.

Principles of the Manifesto

• We will not be swayed by the siren song of Bezier curves.
• We will not be seduced by the allure of anti-aliasing.
• We will not be convinced by the arguments of "it's just a little bit more aesthetically pleasing."
