Normality, a Philosophical Conundrum

In an effort to combat the crushing ennui of existence, the philosophical methodology has been developed to find meaning in the mundane. Normality, in this context, is the state of being completely average. It's the midpoint on the scale of human experience. The average Joe. The everyman. The... well, you get the idea.

The Five Pillars of Normality

  1. 1. Eating the same breakfast cereal every day.
  2. 2. Wearing the same outfit on Tuesdays.
  3. 3. Taking the same route to work every day.
  4. 4. Having the same number of cats as everyone else in the neighborhood (three).
  5. 5. Watching the same TV show on Friday nights.

These five pillars form the foundation upon which a life of normalcy is built. To truly understand the meaning of normality, one must embrace the comfort and familiarity of these tried and true principles.
