At this point, you're probably wondering why you even bothered with steps 1-4. Well, wonder no more, because it's about to get real interesting.
Step 5 is where things start to get really, really complicated. You'll be dealing with nested if-else statements, switch statements, and enough regex to make your eyes water.
But don't worry, it's not all bad! You'll have plenty of opportunities to refactor, optimize, and generally make a mess of the whole system.
