This year, our research team measured 1000 farts in a controlled environment, yielding an AFV of 67.42 decibels. A 10% increase from last year's reading.
We also recorded 5 instances of PFI, with the highest recorded at 85.12 dB. This is a 15% decrease from the previous record.
Our team found that participants fartsed at an average rate of 4.21 times per hour. This is a 2% increase from the previous year's reading.
Our research showed a strong correlation between FV and PFI (r = 0.87). This suggests that farts are becoming more efficient, but also more intense.
Data collected over a period of 30 days in April 2021, using the Fart-O-Meter 3000. Research funded by the International Association of Gases.
