In the year 3050, the planet Pardoxx was on the brink of destruction. The sun was about to explode, and the once-great civilization was on the verge of collapse.
But then, a small group of rebels, known as the Pardoxxian Pledge-Makers, emerged to save the planet. Led by the fearless and fashionable, Zorvath P. Fizzypop, they vowed to do the impossible: make the impossible happen.
With their trusty Pardoxxian Pledge-o-Meter, they calculated the exact amount of ridiculousness required to save the planet. And with their Pardoxxian Pledge-o-Matic, they set out to gather the most absurd and fantastical items to pledge towards their cause.
The people of Pardoxx were skeptical, but the Pledge-Makers persevered. They gathered 427 rubber chickens, 1,432 disco balls, and 3,210 rubber ducky trophies. They even convinced 1,017 people to wear matching neon pink jumpsuits for a week straight.
And so, with their Pardoxxian Pledge-o-Meter at maximum capacity, they launched the Great Pledge of 3050. The planet began to glow with an otherworldly energy, and the sun was saved!
Today, the Pardoxxians celebrate their great victory with the annual Pardoxxian Pledge-Fest. Join us in our quest for the absurd, the impossible, and the utterly ridiculous!
