Step 3: Desperately Trying to Get Your Life Together

Welcome to Credit Score Rehabilitation. You made it this far, congratulations!

Now that you've managed to avoid getting into debt for 2 whole steps, it's time to start making progress. In this step, you'll be focusing on:

  1. Pay off those pesky credit card balances. We know, we know, it's not like you haven't heard of this one before.
  2. Making regular payments on your student loans. Because, let's be real, you're never paying those off either.
  3. Opening a savings account. Because, surprise, surprise, having minimalist art supplies doesn't pay the bills.

Don't worry, it's not like you're alone in this struggle. You have us, and our expert advice, which is basically just a series of poorly drawn flowcharts and hastily scrawled notes on the back of a cocktail napkin.
