Rule 5: The Unofficial Rules of Parlor Games
Also known as "The Rule That Will Get You Kicked Out".
Do not, under any circumstances, use a parlor game as a means to impress a potential romantic partner. If you do, you will be met with the following reactions:
- Disgust
- Scoffing
- Rolling of the eyes
Instead, follow these guidelines:
- Play for the love of the game itself, not for the validation of others.
- Don't be that person who always has to win.
- Don't be that person who always has to be right.
- Don't be that person who always has to talk about how good they are at it.
Remember, at Parlor Games, we play to laugh, to learn, and to not be that guy.
