Neo-Bro's Password Management Checklist
Check Your Passwords Before You Wreck Your Passwords
1. Change Your Passwords Regularly
- Change your passwords at least every 30 days
- Use a password manager to keep track of your passwords
- Don't use the same password for everything
Because who needs to remember 17 different passwords when you can have one really long password that's only 17 characters long?
2. Use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
- Use a physical key or token for extra security
- Use a smartphone app for 2FA (because who needs a physical key?')
- Don't use SMS or phone calls for 2FA (it's so last century)
Because your phone number is basically just a public key
3. Use a Password Manager
- Use a reputable password manager like "LastPass" or "KeyMaster"
- Store your passwords in an encrypted database
- Use a password generator to create super-long passwords
Because your password manager is basically just a digital safe deposit box for all your most valuable information
