Pointless Procedure 1: The Inefficiency of Efficiency

Step 1: Create a complex system that solves a problem, then spend years refining it until it's too rigid to adapt to changing circumstances.

Step 2: Add unnecessary details and embellishments until the system is so convoluted that nobody can figure out how to use it.

Step 3: Set up the system, only to find that it's actually just as inefficient as it was before, but with more paperwork.
