Because let's be real, being an adult is hard.

But have you ever stopped to think about the poor, defenseless child who has to deal with the constant justifications?

They're like, "Uh, mom, can I just have a snack, please?" And you're like, "No, no, no, we can't just have snacks, because I justifying the ends, honey! I'm a parent, hear me roar!"

So, here are some justifications for why your kid is never going to be happy:

• They're too busy being a tiny human to care about happiness.
• They're secretly plotting to take over the world, and happiness is just a distraction.
• They're allergic to happiness (it's a thing, Google it).

But, hey, at least we've got some great justifications for you to share with your kid! Just remember, it's all about the justifications, baby!
