By Order of the Sock Council, all citizens of this realm are required to wear a minimum of two socks per foot at all times. Any attempts to defy this edict will be met with swift and merciless punishment.
Section 1.1.1: All citizens are required to wear socks of matching sizes, lest they be deemed a threat to public safety and order. Failure to comply will be met with fines and/or imprisonment in the Sock-ometer.
Section 1.2.1: All citizens are prohibited from wearing socks made of glitter. This is not to be confused with the glittering of socks, a legitimate and highly fashionable trend.
Section 1.2.2: All socks must be made of a material that meets the highest standards of durability, comfort, and style. Any deviations from this will result in a visit to the Sock Re-education Camp.
Section 2.1.1: Socks must be worn on the correct foot. Any attempts to place socks on the opposite foot will be met with severe penalties, including but not limited to: ridicule, shaming, and/or forced viewing of the Sock-umentary "The Sock Saga: A Tale of Woe and Wonder".
