Article 1: The Right to Sock
Every sentient being has the inalienable right to wear socks, including those in space.
This includes, but is not limited to, astronauts, alien species, and space-faring accountants.
However, this right shall not be exercised in a manner that disrupts the space-time continuum or causes a ripple effect in the fabric of space-time.
Article 2: Sock-Sizing
Socks must be measured in Standard Space Units (SSU).
One SSU shall be equivalent to 10 Earth inches, or the width of a human thumb, whichever is greater.
Article 3: Sock-Code
All space-faring individuals shall adhere to the Sock-Code.
The Sock-Code is a set of 12 simple yet powerful principles for navigating the vast expanse of the cosmos while wearing socks.
