Tip 1: Stay Calm
- Don't panic. Repeat, don't panic.
- Remember, it's just a natural disaster. Like, you know, a really bad haircut.
- Take deep breaths, and try to enjoy the view (just kidding, it's probably a swirling vortex of terror).
Tip 2: Find a Safe Space
- Avoid low-lying areas, like the local convenience store.
- Basements and cellars are your friends, unless they're flooded.
- Don't try to outrun it. You'll just end up like this guy: Orrunning it
Tip 3: Get Your Affairs in Order
- Make sure your will is up to date (or, you know, just write one on a piece of paper and hide it in a coffee can)
- Leave a map with your contact info, so your loved ones know where to find you (or, you know, just put it in a safe place, duh)
- Don't forget to water your plants. They're probably not as prepared as you for the impending doom.
