Procrastination Techniques: 50-30-20 Rule

The infamous 50-30-20 rule: a time management system for the chronically disorganized. Fifty percent of your time should be spent doing the most important thing, thirty percent on things that are somewhat important, and twenty percent for, well, "research". But let's be real, we'll just use it to watch cat videos and check social media.

50-50-50 Rule: when you're really, really stuck, just split your time into thirds and hope for the best.

30-30-40 Rule: when you're feeling particularly productive, use the first thirty percent for something, the second thirty percent for browsing cat videos, and the rest for wondering if you're actually getting anything done.

20-20-60 Rule: when the stakes are low, just spend all your time watching cat videos and hope nobody needs you for anything important.
