Procrastination Techniques for the Truly Disorganized
Warning: the following techniques are not actually effective and will likely result in more work, more stress, and more missed deadlines.
1. The Art of Pretending to Work
- Close your browser tabs, but keep the screen on. This will make it look like you're hard at work.
- Stare intensely at a random pixel on the screen. This will give the appearance of focus.
- Play "productive" background music. Anything with a fast tempo and a lot of synthesizers will do the trick.
