Simcoe Slam: A Double IPA for the Modern Times
A recipe born from the depths of time and the depths of your wallet. This brew is a behemoth of a beer, a double IPA that's not for the faint of heart.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Simcoe Hops (the good stuff)
- 1 oz Mosaic Hops (the pretender)
- 6 oz Pilsner Malt (the backbone)
- 4 oz Wheat Malt (the supporting actor)
- 1/2 oz Flaked Rye (the wild card)
Instructions:
- Boil for 60 minutes. Yes, 60.
- Chill, then add hops.
- Chill some more. You're welcome.
- Bottle, and pray to the beer gods.
