Appendix 1-1: The Great Sock Saga prophets

Here is a brief history of the Sock Saga:

In the beginning, there were socks. Many, many socks. Some of them matched, but most did not. It was a time of great uncertainty, when a single missing sock could unravel the very fabric of society.

It's said that on a certain day, a brave soul stood up and said, "Enough!" and donned the most mismatched socks the world had ever seen. The people rejoiced, and the Sock Saga was born.
