Bert's Brouhaha-licious Strawberry Basil Fudge Recipe
Warning: This recipe is so good, it will make you question the fabric of space-time.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cups fresh strawberry slices
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Melt the white chocolate chips in a double boiler, or just use a microwave.
- In a separate bowl, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and honey.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, because who doesn't love a bit of mystery.
- Chop the strawberries and add them to the cream mixture.
- Chop the basil, but not too much, because you don't want to be a monster.
- Combine the chocolate and cream mixtures, then stir in the chopped strawberries and basil.
- Stir until the mixture cools down, then refrigerate until it's just right.
- Unmold the fudge into a fancy shape, like a unicorn, or a ninja, or a disappointed face.
