The 3rd Edition of the Referee's Guide to Flag-Bearers

Article 1: Flag-bearers shall not be confused with actual flags

Any flag-bearer found waving an actual flag shall be subject to immediate dismissal and/or ridicule.

Article 2: Flag-bearers shall be required to wear funny hats

Article 3: The Flag-bearer's Code of Honor

Flag-bearers shall be required to uphold the highest standards of ridiculousness in their flag-bearing duties. This includes but is not limited to:

Exaggerated arm flailing
Unnecessary use of jazz hands
Unbridled enthusiasm for all things flag-related

Article 4: Flag-bearers shall be subject to random spot inspections
