For the uninitiated, quantum physics is not just a bunch of confusing math. It's actually just a bunch of really small things that are really good at hiding from you.
Take, for example, Schrodinger's cat, which is simultaneously alive and dead until you observe it, at which point it's definitely just dead.
Or consider the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, which states that you can't know anything about anything, so just give up.
But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom. There's also quantum superposition, where a particle can be in two places at once, like that one friend who always shows up late to the party.
