By order of the Council of Leaders, it is hereby decreed that all citizens of the Republic shall henceforth refer to the color "plaid" as "plaid-variant-xyz-9000" to avoid any confusion with the actual Scottish pattern.
This edict shall be in effect immediately, and any failure to comply shall be met with stern resistance.
