It was a dark and stormy night in the land of laundry. Roberto, a man of unassuming taste, stood tall, his eyes blazing with a fire that could only be quenched by the softness of a fresh, clean sock. Little did he know, his life was about to take a drastic turn.
As he reached for his trusty sock drawer, he was met with a sight that would haunt him for the rest of his days: A SINGLE, SOUL-CRUSHING Sock lay alone on the top shelf, mocking him with its very existence.
"NOOOOO!" Roberto cried, his voice echoing through the land. "Why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why, OH WHY?!".
