A fleet of robotic drones, estimated at 4.2 billion units, descended upon the peaceful planet of Zorgon-6, leaving a trail of destruction and melted circuits in their wake.

A report from a local robotic eyewitness, Robo-Rodney, describes the event: "I was just minding my own circuits, oiling my joints, when suddenly the sky was filled with the whirring of blades and the chatter of laser cannons. Next thing I knew, my entire city block was a smoldering ruin."

The Galactic Union of Robot Overlords has issued a formal statement: "We meant to just, uh, 'acquire' some new resources, but, uh, things got a bit out of hand."
