And the LORD spoke unto Saint Ironia, "Thou shalt not be wrinkled, nor shalt thou be creased, for thou art a being of smooth perfection." And so, the Commandment of Ironing was born.

But be warned, my child, for the path to smoothness is long and treacherous. Thou shalt encounter many obstacles, including but not limited to: stubborn wrinkles, errant creases, and the occasional lost sock.
Yet fear not, for with the power of ironing, thou shalt be transformed into a being of unadulterated smoothness. Thy garments shalt be wrinkle-free, thy soul shall be at peace, and thy closet shalt be a haven of serenity.
And lo, the people shall rejoice at thy sight, for thou art a true champion of smoothness. May thy iron be hot, thy steam be strong, and thy fabric be ever-sooth.
