At this point, you're probably wondering why we'd deliberately design a layout that's just begging for collision.

We're not, actually, but it's a good question. Proximity principle, for the uninitiated, is the idea that similar elements should be grouped together, like a hot mess of chaos.

Think of it like a crowded, poorly-planned party: you're all just standing there, shoulder-to-shoulder, wondering if you'll ever get a decent drink.

Or, you know, like a good ol' fashioned game of sardines. Who needs personal space, anyway?
