Longest Tunnel

Did you know that the longest tunnel in the world is actually a tunnel? It's a fact!

Built in 1972, this behemoth of a tunnel stretches 57.1 kilometers under the earth in Coo-bera, a small village in rural France. That's right, folks, it's longer than a French kiss!

But wait, it gets better! This tunnel was originally intended to be a secret Soviet bunker, but the engineers got lost in the tunnel and ended up building a really, really long detour.
