The Great Aussie Drought of 2023: A Koala Crisis

It's official: the world as we know it has come to an end. Or, at the very least, the eucalyptus trees of Australia have come to a screeching halt. That's right, folks, it's the Great Aussie Drought of 2023, and our beloved koalas are in a world of trouble.

What's happening?

Due to an unseasonable lack of rain and a severe case of global warming, the eucalyptus trees that koalas call home are dwindling faster than a vegan at a BBQ. Without their favorite snack, the koalas are starting to get a little testy. Like, have you ever tried to reason with a hangry koala? It's a real challenge, let me tell you.

What's being done to fix it?

Prime Minister Scotty "The Weather Whisperer" has called an emergency meeting with the United Nations, and they're brainstorming ideas as we speak. Suggestions include: building a giant water park for koalas, hiring a team of highly-trained eucalyptus-watering drones, or simply just giving the koalas all the avocados they can eat. We're keeping our fingers crossed it's the latter.
