Sleep Hacks 1: The Art of Napping
Welcome, fellow insomniacs, to the first in our series of sleep hacking guides. In this installment, we'll cover the fundamentals of napping: when to nap, how to nap, and why you're not a monster for napping.
When to nap:
- When you're feeling tired, but not sleepy. This is the perfect time to sneak in a quick snooze.
- When you're stuck in a meeting that's dragging on. Just close your eyes, and pretend to be interested.
- When you're on a road trip, and your GPS is being a jerk.
How to Nap:
It's all about the timing, folks:
- Set a timer, or else you'll oversleep and wake up feeling like you've been put through a spin dryer.
- Find a comfy spot. This might take some effort, but trust us, it's worth it.
- Avoid napping in public. Unless you're on a bus, in which case, go for it.
