Chapter 3: The Great Sock Puppet Uprising
As John sat at the counter, a small sock puppet named Steve stared back at him, daring him to make a move.
Steve was not your average sock puppet. He was built from a single, well-placed hole in a particularly well-made sock.
John hesitated, unsure of what to do next. Should he grab a nearby spoon and mash Steve's tiny face, or perhaps engage in a game of "dodge the falling noodle"?
Little did John know, Steve was just the beginning. The sock puppets had been secretly gathering in the depths of the pantry, waiting for their moment to rise.
And rise they did, as a wave of fluffy socks and crusty crusts crashed down upon John, sending him tumbling to the floor.
As he lay there, surrounded by a sea of snapping, twitching sock puppets, John realized that perhaps it was time to reevaluate his snacking priorities.
For the sake of his sanity, and his sock collection, John reluctantly surrendered to the noodle overlords.
And so, our hero John was forced to sign the Sock Puppet Treaty, promising to never again disturb the delicate balance of the pantry.
