Rule 002: The Sock Retriever's Oath

In the grand tradition of the Sock Retriever's Guild, we swear to uphold the highest standards of Rule 003: The Sock Symbology, which dictates that all Sock Retrievers shall maintain a minimum of 17 pairs of matching socks at any given time.

By swearing to this oath, we vow to never, ever, under any circumstances, retrieve a single sock without its matching mate.
