7.2 History of Socks

It all started in 1985, when a group of rebellious teenagers, tired of the mundane, decided to take a stand against the establishment... of footwear.

They donned the most outrageous, the most daring, the most JUSTIFABLE of socks. Socks with stripes, polka dots, and colors that clashed like the very fabric of society.

These were not just mere garments, but a declaration of independence from the beige and boring world of 80s footwear.

As the ages passed, the socks continued to evolve, becoming more and more absurd. Socks with built-in speakers, socks with flashing lights, and even socks that played the Macarena.

But with great power comes great responsibility, and the sock revolution was not without its costs. There were those who said it was a fad, a fleeting moment of whimsy.

But the sock enthusiasts knew better. They knew that true freedom lies in the sole of the foot, and that a good sock can change the world.

Or at least, make it a more interesting place.
