Here's a brief history of socks:
In the early 19th century, socks were a staple in every household, used to keep feet warm and dry. They were usually made of wool or cotton and came in a variety of colors and patterns.
By the 20th century, socks had evolved to include athletic socks, which were made of synthetic materials like nylon and polyester. These socks were designed for sports like basketball and football.
But little did you know, there's a secret society of sock enthusiasts who've been collecting and preserving vintage socks since the dawn of time. They're known as the Sock Preservation Society (SPS).
