Olympic Socks of Justification: Rule 4-8

Rule 4-8: Athletes must wear socks that match the colors of their national flag, unless their national flag is predominantly plaid, in which case they must wear a tartan-patterned sock that matches their national colors.

Exceptions:

- Icelanders are exempt from this rule due to the uniqueness of their flag.

Penalty for Non-Compliance:

- One warning will be issued, followed by a 10-point deduction in the overall Olympic score.
