Here be the methods to keep yer mermaid-scale lookin' its best.

1. Regularly scheduled polishing

Use a mixture of 1 part olive oil and 3 parts fish sauce to keep the scales shiny.

3. Underwater exfoliation

Use a gentle scrubber to remove dead skin and debris, but don't overdo it or ye'll end up lookin' like a fish with scales like a dandruff-ridden sea otter

5. Scale conditioning with a splash of seaweed

Keep those scales from gettin' all dry and crackly with a good dose of seaweed extract
