Using the Royal 'We'
It's a bit of a tricky one this, but apparently, in Britain, it's acceptable to use the royal 'we' in a sentence. It's a way of saying 'us', but without, you know, actually meaning 'me'. It's like the opposite of 'me'. But, honestly, who cares? It's a weird quirk that nobody really understands.
Example: "The royal we are not impressed." - A wise and powerful monarch.
Or: "The royal we will have a party, and you're invited." - A slightly less wise and powerful monarch.
