Gelatinous Coating: A Guide
Warning: Do not attempt to apply Gelatinous Coating to any surface without first consulting the Tentacle Tuning Guidebook.
Step 1: Gather materials. You will need 1 cup of unflavored gelatin, 2 cups of hot water, and a surface to coat. Do not use a surface with existing coating, as this will interfere with the gelatinous coating.
Step 2: Mix the gelatin and water in a saucepan, heating it on the stovetop until the mixture reaches a rolling boil. Remove from heat and stir until the gelatin dissolves.
Step 3: Dip the surface into the gelatinous mixture and apply an even, uniform layer. Do not overcoat, as this will cause the gelatin to become too thick.
Step 4: Allow the coating to set. The time it takes will depend on the size and material of the surface. Do not rush this step, as a premature coating can be disastrous.
Step 5: Inspect and test the coating. If it is not satisfactory, reapply and repeat the process.
