It all started innocently enough. A small purchase order for 1000 paperclips. But we just couldn't stop there.
We added a second order of 5000 more, because why not? And then another 10000, because we're just that kind of committee.
The paperclip industry took note of our enthusiasm and sent us a "Thank you for being a loyal customer" card. We were mortified.
