Budget for the Department of Absurdity (DOA)

We're a government agency, and we're not just any government agency. We're the DOA, the Department of Absurdity, where the lines between sanity and chaos are constantly blurred.

Our budget is a mess. We're not sure how we're going to make it work, but we're going to try.

**Total Budget: $1,000,000,000 (plus whatever we can scrounge up)**

**Breakdown:**

• **Salaries for our 5-person team:** $750,000 (including the director who insists on having a cat in their office)
• **Catering for our weekly 'Think-Outside-the-Box' retreats:** $200,000 (including a team-building trust-building exercise where we all have to share a plate of nachos)
• **Budget for 'Random, Unnecessary, and Completely-Not-Going-to-Work Projects:** $500,000 (including 'The Great Wall of China 2.0: A Study of Futility')
• **Miscellaneous (i.e. whatever we can get away with):** $50,000 (including bribes for our "favorite" politicians)
