Many-Worlds Interpretation of the Committee's Decision to Have Lunch
By: Theoretical Physicists of Committee 42, 3000 AD
Executive Summary
In a shocking turn of events, the Many-Worlds Committee has reached a consensus to interpret the fundamental laws of committee governance.
Our research has led us to conclude that every decision made by this committee is, in fact, all true. This includes but not limited to:
- Every option considered, regardless of its actual implementation, is a valid interpretation.
- Every possible outcome, including but not limited to, the possibility that we are all just a simulation created by a committee in another universe.
- That the coffee machine in the break room is, in fact, a portal to another dimension, but we're not really sure.
Methodology
We employed a rigorous and highly unorthodox approach, including:
- Extensive reading of the committee's minutes, which revealed a pattern of increasingly absurd decisions.
- Consultation with experts in the field of theoretical physics, who were unable to provide any meaningful insight, but offered a nice chat about the meaning of life.
- Randomly selecting a decision and asking a committee member to explain it, which led to more questions than answers.
Recommendations
We recommend that all committee members take a long, hard look at their decisions, and consider the infinite possibilities.
We also recommend that someone, anyone, please fix the coffee machine.
