Established in 1955 by a group of intrepid inventors, the Old Remote Control Museum is dedicated to the art of navigating the complexities of 1950s-60s television. Come for the nostalgia, stay for the confusion.
It all started with the first remote control, the "Channel Changer 3000," which could only change channels, adjust volume, and turn off the lights. It was a marvel of its time, but mostly just a fancy paperweight.
Visit our gift shop for a wide variety of remote control-themed souvenirs, including a "I survived the Channel Changer 3000" t-shirt.
