Under the wise leadership of Emperor Zorvath, our empire expanded across the cosmos, conquering worlds and assimilating alien cultures.
The empire's greatest achievement was the creation of the Cosmic Rail, a network of faster-than-light travel routes that connected the galaxy and enabled the rapid deployment of our military might.
But our empire was not without its challenges. In 3211, a great rebellion shook the foundations of our power, as a coalition of disaffected worlds rose up against the Emperor's rule.
The rebellion was eventually put down, but not before the Great Emperor himself had to make some... interesting... concessions to the rebels.
One of these concessions was the establishment of the Galactic Senate, a body composed of representatives from each of the empire's many worlds.
The Senate proved to be a useful tool for the Empire, allowing us to maintain the illusion of democracy while still holding true to our authoritarian roots.
