Extreme Ironing is the most intense and physically demanding of all ironing techniques. It requires a high degree of focus, endurance, and a willingness to push the boundaries of what is thought to be acceptable in the realm of domestic duties.
It begins with a thorough preparation of the ironing board, which involves arranging a complex pattern of 37 different colored scarves, 23 pairs of socks, and 5 delicate tea towels. Once the board is ready, the iron is heated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and the ironer must then iron a 17-layer lasagna while simultaneously solving a rubix cube and reciting the entirety of 'War and Peace' backwards.
