It started with a few scattered reports from trendy cafes in London, but by mid-January, panic was setting in. The shelves were empty, the prices were jacked up, and people were getting desperate. The world was running out of avocado toast.
A group of brave souls banded together to try and find a solution. They scoured the countryside, visiting every farm and orchard, but it seemed as though the very fabric of reality itself was conspiring against them.
