First things first, you need a spoon. A spoon that is. Not just any spoon, mind you. A spoon specifically designed for holding tea.

Hold the spoon like it's a delicate flower, with the handle between your thumb and index finger, and the bowl resting gently in your palm.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT, tap your spoon against the side of the teacup. That's just rude.
